Adding a Figma project to a dashboard – no code required
Figma is an awesome tool for prototyping and collaborative design. It’s just the kind of tool a team needs for a smooth creation process, and is used by many teams worldwide. However, sometimes there can be a disconnect between the designing part of the projects, and the internal processes and tasks each team member is expected to follow.
Adding the current project to a dashboard is a perfect way to bridge that gap! We’ll teach you how to integrate a Figma file to a dashboard to view and navigate through the project while still working on your tasks.

2 Steps to Add a Figma project to a dashboard – no code required
1. Create an embeddable HTML code for your project.
Go to your file in Figma. Now, click on the Share button on the top right corner. From there, click on “Get embed code”: this should provide you with an HTML code for the file.
2. Create an app to see the project.
Create an app in Jestor and name it “Project App”. We’ll build one component in this app: an embedded component that shows our map.
- Embedded: click on the + icon, then Embedded. Name it “Project”, then paste the code you got in step one.
Resize the component to your liking and save.
You will now be able to browse the project directly from the app. This can really boost your team’s productivity as they will be able to check things in the file without having to move away from the dashboard, and you will also guarantee they will always have the most updated file! It’s a very simple integration that can take your processes to a whole new level.
