2 Steps to Add a Canva design to a dashboard – no code required
1. Create an embeddable link for your design.
Go to one of your files in Canva. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner, go to “Share” and click on “See all”. Now, click on “Embed”. You will now have to click on the button “Embed” to confirm you want to make this file public.
Now copy the URL in the “Smart embed link” and add “?embed” at the end, which will look something like this:
https://www.canva.com/design/randomtext1/randomtext2/view?embed
2. Create an app to see the design.
Create an app in Jestor and name it “Canva App”. We’ll build one component in this app: an embedded component that shows our map.
- Embedded: click on the + icon, then Embedded. Name it “Canva”, then paste the code you got in step one.
Resize the component to your liking and save.
Now you will have the latest version of the file available right in your dashboard! If it’s a dashboard you share with your team, they can support your posts by sharing the images from the component with just a few clicks! It will be a nice reminder for them to post and engage :)
